Today, we will talk about an actress who left everything behind in Dubai, moved to Mumbai, and ventured into the film industry. Initially, she performed item numbers in movies. When substantial opportunities didn’t come her way, she began working in B and C-grade films. She is best known for her item number in Prakash Jha’s 2003 film Gangaajal.

Born into a Muslim family as Dilnawaz Sheikh, she was raised in Dubai. After her debut in Kamaal Rashid Khan’s Deshdrohi in 2008, she adopted the screen name “Maanayata.” However, her dreams of stardom came to an abrupt halt when her father passed away, leaving her with the responsibility of managing the family business.

A Bollywood hero fell so deeply in love with her that he ended up marrying Maanayata. According to media reports, to avoid embarrassment after the marriage, he purchased the rights to her C-grade film Lovers. He even ensured that its CDs and DVDs were removed from the market. It is said that the actor paid Rs 20 lakh for this. Today, this actress is not only the wife of this hero but also serves as the CEO of a company. Let us share the story of this woman.

This beauty is none other than Sanjay Dutt’s third wife, Maanayata Dutt. Her real name was Dilnawaz Sheikh, but she changed her name to Sana Khan after entering the film industry. Before stepping into films, she managed the family business in Dubai following her father’s death.

Maanayata met Sanjay for the first time in 2006, and the two soon fell in love. After getting to know each other, they decided to get married. Before Maanayata, Sanjay had been married twice, but the deaths of his previous wives left him feeling lonely.

Maanayata, on the other hand, had been married to Meraj ur Rehman, but their marriage ended in divorce before she met Sanjay. Sanjay and Maanayata tied the knot on February 7, 2008, in a private ceremony in Goa. To legalise their marriage, Maanayata converted to Hinduism and married through Arya Samaj rituals. Two years later, on October 21, 2010, the couple welcomed twins – a boy named Shahraan and a girl named Iqra.

After her marriage, Maanayata left Bollywood and became the CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions. Despite being 18 years younger than Sanjay, Maanayata is 46 while Sanjay is 64, their bond remains strong.
