The ongoing drama between Cardi B and Offset continues to captivate their followers. Recently, Cardi B seemingly accused her estranged husband and his mother, Latabia Woodward, of “robbing” her, though she didn’t specify what she exactly meant by the accusation. Cardi also claimed that Offset had failed to buy gifts for their three children—Kulture, Wave, and their newborn daughter. However, she pointed out that he did go shopping in New York City and purchased gifts for his other kids. The Grammy-winning rapper shared that she couldn’t fully enjoy her own success because she believed Offset was dealing with personal struggles.
While going live on X Spaces, the rapper said, “You just called your daughter for the first time this year, your newborn. You love your kids so much and you didn’t buy them s**t for Christmas. But you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts. But you didn’t buy my kids s**t on purpose to spite me. Mind you, it was cool. We weren’t fu****g, but we were cool. Stop playing with me. I ain’t listen after you and your momma robbed me. Yeah, you and your mom robbed me cold, and wiped my nose. Told you to stop playing with me.”
“I’m not going to handle people, because I could really ruin people’s whole life. I just know that god will handle them, they’re just not handling these people as fast as I want them to. My children have not received any Christmas gifts from somebody in particular. Mot******kers want to make a scene on social media like I was keeping my kids away from them. I’m so strong and that doesn’t affect me anymore. Your fu****g little games that you do for spite, that s**t doesn’t bother me no more,” Cardi B added.
Cardi revealed that during a tough time, she couldn’t fully celebrate her own successes because she was more focused on what Offset was going through. Cardi explained that she cared for him, and even prayed for his well-being before thinking about herself. However, she felt angry when Offset accused her of being competitive. The rapper further blamed him for not accepting the divorce because he didn’t agree with her conditions and just wanted to stay connected through their children.
Cardi shared her frustration, saying it felt like Offset was trying to provoke her into acting wild on social media, while he could pretend to stay calm and unbothered. She explained that this was part of his plan. Cardi revealed that she had been quiet for a while, but now she was done and wanted him to sign the divorce papers. She also mentioned that men like Offset often end up with women who are beneath them because they can’t handle a strong woman.
In 2020, TMZ reported that Cardi B filed for divorce with Offset. During that time, she requested physical and legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. However, their divorce settlement has not been finalised yet.
